Athens-Limestone Hospital makes every effort to provide nutritious, appetizing meals that are prepared according to your doctor's orders. Patients are served breakfast around 8:00 a.m., lunch around 12:00 a.m., and dinner around 5:00 p.m. Occasionally your meal may be delayed if you are scheduled for a special test or treatment. Whenever possible, you will be served after your examination or test. If you are on a special diet prescribed by your doctor, you will receive meals tailored to your specific needs. A family member or the significant other of a patient requiring continual care assistance can request a guest tray through Nursing Service at a cost of $3.00. Payment is made when the tray is delivered to the patient room. You may contact a Food Service representative at extension 3145 or 1371 for questions concerning your meals. Cafeteria The cafeteria at Athens-Limestone Hospital is open daily. While it serves hospital employees, visitors are welcome to eat in the cafeteria during visitor hours.
Vending Machines Snack and beverage vending machines are located on the first floor of the hospital near the Emergency Department and on the third floor by the Surgery Waiting Room. |
